Equity and Equality through the Lens of Early Childhood Leadership and Development
Early care and education providers are invited to attend this workshop that will explore the important topic of equity and equality. The workshop will discuss how equity and equality shows up in the workplace for early childhood educators. Participants will understand the difference between equity and equality in order to implement best practices. A one-hour follow up session will help participants to implement and connect the strategies learned in the workshop to the classroom.
Extension Racine County is hosting this workshop as a part of its Early Learning Series for early care and education providers.
- The workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 17 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM on Zoom.
- The workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Tanya Johnson of J3 Solutions.
- IMPORTANT! A follow-up 1-hour workshop will be held with the trainers to help participants connect the knowledge learned in the workshop apply to every day life and the classroom.
- The cost of the workshop is $20 for 3 Registry credits or for anyone needing a certificate of attendance.
