Winter 2018 Positive Solutions Workshop Series

Attention Parents of Young Children (Ages 0 to 6)

Are you looking for new ways to respond to your child’s challenging behaviors? Do you need ideas on how to help your child to follow directions and household rules? Do you want to create a positive relationship with your child?

If you answered “yes”, then the Positive Solutions workshop series is for you. The workshops help parents of young children learn strategies to promote positive behavior. Parents attend six workshops that focus on different topics each week. Children are invited to participate in child activities in a child care setting during the workshops. Racine County UW-Extension will be offering the Positive Solutions workshop series to parents and caregivers of young children age 0 to 6 years old. The workshop series will run for 6 weeks for 1.5 hours each week, and include free child care and a light meal. Workshops are free, and registration is required. Upcoming workshops will be held at:

  • Wadewitz Elementary School (2700 Yout St.) beginning on Tuesday, January 30 from 4:30-6:00 p.m. and continue until March 6.
  • West Ridge Elementary School (1347 S. Emmertsen Rd.) beginning on Friday, January 19 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. and continue until February 23.
