Parents of 4 to 7 year olds – Register for Raising a Thinking Child
Has your child ever experienced any of the following behaviors?
- Temper tantrums Impatience or interrupting
- Not listening
- Difficulty making or keeping friends
If so, Raising a Thinking Child workshop may be just right for you! This evidence-based workshop series will help you guide your child to solve common, everyday problems by communicating with your child. It is a refreshingly practical curriculum that helps you help your child learn how to think, not what to think. You will learn ways to help your child think in new problem-solving ways.
Parents are invited to participate in the Raising A Thinking Child workshop series that will begin on January 19, 2016. This is an 8-week series that will begin on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 and run through early March. It will be held from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. at Red Apple School in Racine. The workshop is presented by Racine County UW-Extension. Register by January 12 by contacting Sarah Hawks at 262-767-2916 or sarah.hawks@goracine.org
