The Early Learning Series presents, “Raising A Thinking Child” on Wednesday, October 21 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Ives Grove Auditorium in Sturtevant. This interactive two-hour workshop is an overview of the full workshop series.
Raising a Thinking Child (RTC). RTC helps parents and early care providers guide children to solve common, everyday problems. Geared toward 4 to 7 year olds, it is an evidence-based curriculum that helps children develop problem solving skills. Participants will learn about discipline styles and their consequences; the I Can Problem Solve (ICPS) Ladder; and be motivated to attend an 8-week Raising A Thinking Child workshop series.
The workshop is free for parents, grandparents, and foster parents. For Early Care professionals wishing to receive Registry credit, there is a $10 fee. Advanced registration is required. For more information, please view the flyer Raising a Thinking Child.
