Workshop – Supporting Children using a Trauma-Informed Lens

Workshop for Early Care and Education Providers – Earn 4.0 Registry Credits

The COVID-19 Pandemic has caused disruptions in the everyday lives of children and families. Routines have been up-ended, children are more socially isolated, and parents/caregivers have experienced increased stress. Children communicate with their caregivers in many ways—through words, actions, and challenging behaviors. In this two-part workshop, we will explore why children display challenging behaviors.

Participants will leave with effective strategies they can use in their programs immediately to build trusting relationships with children, create an environment where all children feel safe and cared for, and support children when they are exhibiting challenging behaviors.  Ages focused on will be 2-10 years.

The workshop is 2-parts – participants must attend both parts to receive the 4.0 Registry Credits.
