Racine County UW-Extension’s Early Learning Series will be hosting a “Kindergarten Readiness” workshop for early care and education professionals.
What makes a child “ready” for kindergarten? Is it knowing letters, numbers, colors, and shapes? Is it the ability to get along with others and ask for help? Join this informative workshop to learn what area kindergarten educators have found helps children to be successful in school. Receive strategies and specific activities to help prepare children for kindergarten. This workshop is especially designed for child care providers with children who will be entering into the Racine Unified School District. See the flyer for details and how to register.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the RUSD Administration Building located at 3109 Mount Pleasant Street in Racine.
