Youth in Governance Representatives to Present Information on Voter Registration

Racine County Youth in Governance Representatives will present information on the voter registration process on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, from 7:00-8:00 P.M. in the auditorium of the Racine County Ives Grove Building, 14200 Washington Avenue, Sturtevant, WI 53177. The public is invited to attend.

Information on the importance of voting will be the focal point of the presentation. In addition, attendees will learn about the voter registration process, how to vote via absentee ballot, how to determine one’s polling location, and resources available in order to become an informed voter.

Youth in Governance Representatives began coordinating The Essentials of Voting presentation in October 2019. This spring they will present to junior and/or seniors in several area high schools about the voter registration process as well as the importance of exercising one’s right to vote.

Current Youth in Governance Representatives: Marissa Bray, Melody Dunk-Chapman, Zachary Eifert, Katlyn Gill, Jillian Humphreys, Jarrett Janes, Diya Mehra, Eric Morocco, Vincent Pulice, and Keilani Trujillo participated in The Essentials of Voting project.
